Lifting columns, control and manual switches
Want to purchase an electric lifting column? The lifting column system from norelem consists of the actual lifting column, a control for lifting columns and a manual switch for lifting columns.
An electric lifting column is used to adjust the height of objects with the aid of a motor and simultaneously provides stable guidance. This permits the promotion of ergonomics at individual workplaces – as well as in complex machine or system environments.
The technology is already fully integrated in an electrically operated aluminium lifting column from norelem. These systems are maintenance-free and can be commissioned quickly and easily using the plug & work principle, and are intuitive to operate.
The norelem range includes various products and lifting column versions with:
- A stroke of up to 500 mm.
- A max. speed of up to 8 mm/s.
- The option of moving two lifting columns synchronously.
- The suitability for compressive and tensile loads.
- Self-locking feature even at maximum load.

Control for the lifting column
The control can be used to operate a maximum of two lifting columns and up to two controls can be connected to each other. This means that a total of four lifting columns can be moved simultaneously and in parallel.
Advantages when controlling the lifting columns:
- The control for the lifting columns offers dynamic duty cycle calculation and overload protection as standard.
- Integrated collision detection (SPP – Smart Product Protection) optimises the process reliability of the lifting columns.
- Visual status messages from the lifting columns are provided via LED indicators.
